The Senior Center gave me hope, it made me feel that I was still a viable person, that I could still help people. When I come here I have quality of life.
There is so much fun, so much laughter here. At the end of the day you go home and go about your life, but you want to come back to the Senior Center to get all the benefits of what it has to offer.
There is no better place to exercise, they know you, they miss you if you are absent, they are your friends. The Senior Center is so full of life. When I attend my exercise classes everybody has a smile on their face... they are just so upbeat.
The Senior Center saved me. I wasn't lost and lonely anymore. It's now like my second home. For folks our age, when you lose a spouse, that is the hardest thing.
We get a good crowd in here and they like to dance. We like to see them dance and enjoy themselves. I love playing music and watch people enjoy the music. When they get up to dance, that movement is important.
